[WATCH] World leaders vs villains at Malta Comic Con 2015
As the seventh edition of Malta Comic Con 2015 gets underway at the Magazino Hall, Valletta, we ask some of its international array of writers and artists how world leaders - both current and prospective - would fare against their comic book villain counterparts, and the distinction between 'comic' and 'graphic novel'
The seventh edition of the Malta Comic Con is currently underway at the Magazino Hall, Valletta Waterfront, and will remain open today from 10:00 to 18:00.
The convention, organised by Wicked Comics, is dedicated to the art of the comic book and its many associated sub cultures – such as gaming and cosplay.
We asked some of this year's guests how certain world leaders would fare against their comic book villain counterparts, and whether the distinction between 'comic' and 'graphic novel' was relevant or just a little bit silly.
Creators we spoke to: Boo Cook (UK), Guillermo Ortego (Spain), Mark Scicluna (Malta), Michael Dialynas (Greece), Fleur Sciortino and Rebecca Portelli (Malta), Daniela Attard (Malta) and Niel O'Driscoll (Ireland).
