Man grievously injured in St Julian’s attack

A man was grievously injured after he was attacked during an argument in St Julian’s.

The incident occurred this morning at around 6:45 in Ball Street, St Julian’s, when the victim – a 33-year-old man from Zabbar – noticed a Finnish man acting suspiciously near his vehicle.

Upon approaching his car, the victim was allegedly struck with an object, suffering grievous injuries in the process.

The Finnish man was arrested, while the victim was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing,
