Cyrus Engerer submits nomination for EP elections

Former Sliema councillor’s nomination endorsed by ministers Evarist Bartolo and Helena Dalli among others.

Cyrus Engerer has officially submitted his nomination for the European Parliament elections to the Labour Party.

His nomination was endorsed by Education Minister Evarist Bartolo, Civil Liberties Minister Helena Dalli, parliamentary secretary Ian Borg, Labour MP Deborah Schembri and Gozitan PL activist Guza Cassar.

Engerer, 31, is a former PN councilor who switched to Labour in 2011 following the PN stand against divorce.
