€847,000 car with 887 horsepower and with top speed of 210 mph was involved in crash that injured 26 at motorcar charity event
A British tycoon and owner of the £3 million-worth ‘Holy Trinity’ of hypercars was the driver behind the wheel of the €800,000 Prosche 918 Spyder that crashed into spectators at a charity motor show at MIA, injuring 26.
Businessman Paul Bailey owns a McLaren P1 and a LaFerrari as well.
The 55-year-old father of four made his £28 million fortune when he sold the phone-conferencing firm he founded, in 2012.
Bailey was said to own some 30 supercars.

“I live a very surreal life and being the first to own all three does not feel real. This is why I want to use and share the cars with enthusiasts. It is too early to say which is the best as they are all totally amazing. I will be able to better comment when I have driven them back to back on the race track,” Bailey had told The Daily Mail of his most recent purchase.
Bailey has raised thousands for charity by raffling off £1 tickets for people to win a go in his McLaren P1.
Adam Thorby, founder of Supercar Driver, was reported in The Daily Telegraph saying that Bailey had raised around £20,000 for charity since he got his P1 by raffling off rides.

The car was participating as one of the four ‘hypercars’ (Ferrari, Koenigsegg CCR, McLaren P1, and Porsche 918) being showcased for the 10th anniversary edition of Paqpaqli Għall-Istrina, a charity event for the annual Christmas telethon for the Malta Community Chest Fund.
