Harvard set to advise Gozo General Hospital’s management
Harvard University will advise the hospital on hospital management, training of workers and use of medical equipment
Harvard University will advising the management of the Gozo General Hospital on the running of the hospital, staff training and use of medical equipment.
Health Minister Chris Fearne is travelling the United States next week to finalise the agreement with Harvard.
Addressing the Labour Party’s regional congress, Fearne said Gozo’s hospital is set to become stronger than Mater Dei Hospital. The government hopes that the GGH would be recognised worldwide for its standards.
GGH falls within a €200 million private public partnership with Vitals Global Healthcare whilst Barts Medical School is set to open its first overseas medical campus in Gozo.
