Nobody injured in Qrendi car fire

A car parked in the driveway of a Qrendi residence caught fire on Friday afternoon, the police said.

The incident happened at around 3pm in Triq Misrah is-Sinjura, a road on the outskirts of Qrendi.

A police spokesperson said that nobody was injured in the blaze but could not exclude individuals having been treated for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters are on site to put out the blaze.
