The Book Fest is open to all free of charge and will feature international participants
The National Book Council has just launched the Programme of Events for this year's edition of the National Book Festival happening over five days, between the 12 and 16 of November 2014 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.
The Book Fest is open to all free of charge, with a programme of events boasting up to 50 different appointments.
Local publishers and authors will be launching and selling their latest works whilst this year's international participation is marked by ten Italian publishers represented by “Editore Morrone”, thanks to the Italian Cultural Institute, and a French bookshop along with celebrated author, Pierre Assouline thanks to the French Embassy.
School-children attending during morning hours will be given a €2 book voucher and will enjoy drama theatre by the Education Department's Drama Unit.
