Marshall to chair Arts Council, Labour candidate takes philharmonic
Albert Marshall appointed chairperson of Malta Council for Culture and Art (MCCA); new Heritage Malta board to be chaired by Joe Buttigieg.
Playwright and PBS editorial board deputy chairperson Albert Marshall has been appointed as the new chairman of the Malta Council for Culture and Art (MCCA). Board members include TV producer Frederick Testa - who also formed part of Labour's electoral campaign - Nicholas Depiro, Dominic Galea, Caroline Tonna, Jackie Scott and Joe Micallef.
The new board was announced by parliamentary secretary José Herrera.
Herrera also revealed the new board of the National Orchestra to be led by Labour candidate Sigmond Mifsud. Board members are Ruth Vella Micallef, Mark Attard Montalto, Paul Abela, Maria Frendo and Alexei Galea Cavalazzi.
The new Heritage Malta board will be headed by Joe Buttigieg, assisted by Joanne Cassar, Tony Degiovanni, Peter Muscat, Gerald Montanaro Gauci, Anthony Zammit and secretary Andrea Bartolo.
