Charity Music Marathon
The annual festival returns at Rookies, Bugibba at 20:30. This year’s charities benefitting from the Marathon are YMCA and Mission of Mercy (Brazil). Performances on the night include KOI, Areola Treat, Norm Rejection, Oblique Visions, The Freuds, Relikc, Red Electrick, Bridget Bone, Stolen Creep, Bletchley Park, and many more.

Underworld Live at Cream
Considered to be one of the most important groups in the history of electronic music, Underworld will be headlining Malta’s first indoor festival at MFCC grounds. Nosnow/noalps Album Launch ‘Romantikpolitik’
Nosnow/noalps will be launching their debut album at the Orpheum Theater in Gzira at 21:30. The launch will also feature performances by Red Electrick and Stolen Creep, and will be followed by a DJ set by Davide Zane.

Frankenstein
Exciting new production of Mary Shelley’s gothic horror classic, directed by Trainspotting’s Danny Boyle and beamed from the National Theatre in London to St James Cavalier cinema. The main actors will alternate between the characters of Victor Frankenstein and Frankenstein’s creature on different nights. The version featuring Jonny Lee Miller as Frankenstein and Benedict Cumberbatch as the Creature will be screened tonight and March 27 at 19:00, and April 2 at 20:00. The alternate version will be screened on March 24 at 20:00, April 8 and 29 at 20:00 and April 17 at 19:15. Michael Jackson Forever: YADA’s Tribute to the King of Pop
After celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a sellout performance just last year, the YADA dance company is preparing to celebrate the life, the art and the musical passion of the King of Pop at MFCC, Ta’ Qali. The show will feature 350 dancers, gymnasts and guest artistes all giving passionate life to YADA’s brand – emotion, costumes, glamour, special effects, lights, spectacle, surprises, powerful and spectacular dancing. Shows on March 26 and 26 are at 20:00 and 19:30 on March 27. An anniversary celebration for the Wignacourt Tower, St Paul’s Street, St Paul’s Bay from 10:30 to 16:00. Featuring Maltese wedding re-enactments, folklore shows, traditional Maltese music, vintage carts with horses, exhibition stalls (featuring Maltese tools, vegetables, flowers, qubbajt, filigree and more) and a kids corner. Wignacourt Tower itself will also be open for viewing.
