Two-day showcase of Gozo’s best produce and animals
Event gives Gozitan farmer an apportunity to showcase their animals, songbirds and locally-grown produce, wines, oil and honey
Gozo’s annual agricultural, industrial and cultural show, also known as ‘Il-Wirja ta’ Santa Marija’, will be held at Villa Rundle gardens between the on Sunday 14 and Monday 15 August.
The event gives local farmers an opportunity to showcase their wares, with exhibitions ranging from farm animals and songbirds to locally-grown produce, wines, oil and honey.
It is being supported by Banif Bank.
“This show is a staple in the Gozitan calendar and a popular one among locals and visitors alike,” said Marie Josette Vella Magro, manager of Banif Bank’s Victoria branch.
