[WATCH] Pyrotechnic show lights up Haz-Zebbug skies
Haz-Zebbug residents treated to spectacular Pyro Rhapsody fireworks display at vilalge feast
It was a night to remember for Haz-Zebbug residents and feast enthusiasts, who were treated with a syncronised pyrotechnic show during Saturday night’s village feast.
The St Philip’s Fireworks Factory made use of a unique 60 by 13 mere structure to set off some 1,500 fireworks shots in the Pyro Rhapsody show, an audio-visual display that combined pyrotechnics and technology.
It was the highlight of the Haz-Zebbug feast, held to commemorate St Philip, the village’s patron saint. The feast is traditionally held on 11 June, but had to be postponed by a week this year due to snap general elections.
Aside from the pyrotechnic show, the feast also included a display of mechanised ground fireworks, that enthusaists from the locality’s two band clubs had spent several months working on.
