Schwarzenegger’s son seriously injured in surfing accident

A source close to the family said the accident happened over the weekend, last week, whilst the young Schwarzenegger was surfing, as his parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, confirmed the accident.

“While it has been a very scar week, Christopher is surrounded by his family and friends,” the two said in a joint statement. “Hi is a brave boy and is expected to make a full recovery.”

CNN reports that the boy was slammed face-on into an object on a beach and was seriously injured.
