All Malta’s watching Eurovision… are you?
Our endearingly pretentious cultural editor Teodor Reljic will be getting off his high horse just for tonight, regaling you to a live blog of the Eurovision Song Contest. So get your eyeballs on this here screen come 8.30pm – it’s going to get messy.
Oh oh, oh oh... Eurovision is tonight and our cultural editor Teodor Reljic will be sacrificing his Saturday night out to deliver the most amusing, witty, provocative - and at times incomprehensible to mere mortals - commentary you have ever read, right here on our live-blog going up at 8.30pm.
This is not an exaggeration... pinky promise.
And for those of you who will be tweeting away on Twitter right before, during and after each and every single song, we urge you to tweet using #malta and #eurovision. We'll be monitoring the Twitter feeds and ready to embed the best ones in our blog as we go along.
We also urge you to comment on our live-blog.
As we wish Gianluca and Jeremy from IT the best of luck for this evening, we're also hoping that Serbia votes for Gianluca, given that one of the composers of Tomorrow is Malta-based Serbian national Boris Cezek.
According to bookmakers, this year's winner is set to be Denmark's entry Only Teardrops by Emmelie de Forset. Norway's I Feed You My Love by Margaret Berger is second favourite.
At the newsroom we have bet on Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
And in support of Finland: 'The kiss must go on'.
