Tearful Wayne Rooney begs his wife for forgiveness

Rooney is hoping to win her back following  the revelations of his dealing with prostitutes whilst Coleen was pregnant with their son.

But Coleen, who has left their house to stay with her parents, gave her husband a sign that there could still be hope as she emerged yesterday wearing her wedding ring.

Despite growing public outrage that he should lose his sponsorship deals, it all seems that the deals are safe.

Wayne’s main sponsor have said that his reported use of prostitutes was a ‘private matter’ and they would not drop him.

Parents’ groups called for them to end the footballer’s contracts because as a role model he has set an ‘appalling’ example to the children.
