Eurovision Young Dancers competition to be held in Malta in 2017
Public Broadcasting Services will organise and broadcast in high definition this prestigious event to all European Countires.
Malta will be hosting the June 2017 edition of the Eurovision Broadcasting Union, Eurovision Young Dancers.
This was announced by Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government Owen Bonnici during a press conference.
Malta was chosen after a presentation to the Eurovision Young Dancers Steering Committee, where local facilities and Public Broadcasting expertise in such international events were successfully recognised. Public Broadcasting Services will organise and broadcast in high definition this prestigious event to all European Countires.
Bonnici congratulated Anthea Zammit, who represented Malta in Pilsen, Czech Republic, where her performance was very well complemented by the international jury. PBS organized Malta’s participation for the first time in 30 years and will now organize together with the EBU the 2017 edition of the Eurovision Young Dancers.
