Fake human skull unearthed from Ghajn Tuffieha 'treasure chest'

Beach-goers at Ghjan Tuffieha made an unusual discovery earlier this morning, coming across a deceivingly realistic model of a human skull in a box in the sand.

Perhaps hoping to uncover hidden treasure, a group of people decided to open a wooden box that they had found beneath the sand - only to find what appeared to be a human skull staring at them from a bed of sand and seaweed.

However, police on site quickly reassured the public that the skull was a fake, possibly a prank.
