Van Damme suffers heart attack on set

Van Damme, 50, was yesterday taken to a hospital in New Orleans. After he returned back to New Orleans from Romania where he was filming his latest movie ‘Weapon’, the action film star was taken ill.

Even though Van Damme’s representative did not say anything about the incident, numerous reports have emerged ranging from collapsing on set to the actor driving himself to the hospital.

‘Weapon’ is scheduled to be released in 2011, where Van Damme takes on the role of an assassin tackling a drug cartel.
