Lily Allen loses baby

A spokesperson for Allen and her partner, Sam Cooper, confirmed that on Thursday Allen was rushed to the hospital after complaining of stomach pains.

Unfortunately, efforts to save the unborn child failed over the week.

“The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. Nor further comments will be made,” Allen’s spokesperson said.

The miscarriage comes two year after the singer suffered a similar tragedy with then boyfriend Ed Simmons.
