Prince William to get married next year

Prince William has finally decided to get married to Kate Middleton next year.

“The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton,” a statement from the Clarence House reads.

“The wedding will take place in the spring or summer of 2011, in London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.”

Prince William and Middleton got engaged last October during a holiday in Kenya. It is said that after the marriage the couple will live in north Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have announced their wedding. This statement has been expected since June, though the engagement apparently became official last month. The royal couple made the announcement though Charles, the Prince of Wales at Clarence House. Spring or summer 2011 is the planned date for the wedding. The location has already been generally named -- London.
