Losco confirms pregnancy rumours: 'I’m a mother-to-be'

Malta’s darling and Eurovision hopeful Ira Losco has finally broke her silence and confirmed rumours of her pregnancy.

Losco, who is currently in Stockholm, Sweden, where she will perform Malta’s Eurovision entry ‘Walk on Water’ next week, made the announcement on Facebook to celebrate Mother’s Day.

"I'm ecstatic that my boyfriend Sean, family and friends are here to support me all the way. To add to all the excitement I'm also celebrating my First Mother's Day as a mother-to-be. Sean Gravina and I are very very happy to finally share this news with you all which some of you might have guessed already.”

"We never thought we would have been so blessed with such beautiful news accompanying this Eurovision experience which has given me so much strength both as an artist and as a private person.

Losco – currently ranked sixth favourite by the bookies – will be singing her song ‘Walk on Water’ on Tuesday in the first semi final. This will be her second attempt at winning the Eurovision after having finished in second place in 2002 with her song ‘7th Wonder’.
