From Gozo with love: Island gets ready for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’ Day is celebrated on 14 February but Gozo will have a whole week of activities intended to attract people to the island.

The Gozo Ministry has unveiled a programme of events targeting Valentine’s Day, which include a drive-in movie night on Saturday 9 February and a concert in Victoria with the participation of Ivan Grech and other Gozitan artists.

An art exhibition at the Cittadella and other activities will colour Gozo’s main streets.

Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana said these thematic feasts were beneficial to the Gozitan economy. “NSO statistics show that more people were choosing Gozo to spend quality time here,” Caruana said.
