Trailer Park | Skyfall
James Bond is 50 this year, but the trailer for his latest adventure in international espionage shows him to be as limber as ever.
James Bond's loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is challenged over secrets from her past. When MI6 is attacked, it falls to Bond to seek out and eliminate the threat regardless of the cost to himself.
Starring Daniel Craig in his third film as Ian Fleming's world-famous super spy - after Casino Royale and The Quantum of Solace - Skyfall, directed by American Beauty's Sam Mendes - features Javier Bardem as its villain Raoul Silva, Ralph Fiennes as government agent Mallory, while Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe take on the roles and good-and-bad Bond girls, respectively.
The 23rd Bond film in the series, Skyfall also marks the character's 50th anniversary.
James Bond first appeared in Casino Royale, a novel by Ian Fleming first published in 1953.
Not only was Bond played by a variety of actors ever since Sean Connery first took on the role... the charismatic, womanising British spy remains an active fictional character, as a number of high-profile authors have written James Bond novels in the wake of Fleming's death: the most recent being Sebastian Faulks and Jeffrey Deaver.
