Next Children's Cinema Day to be held in September
Three cinemas in Malta and one in Gozo will be participating
This year’s second edition of Children's Cinema Day, taking place on Saturday 13 September, will let offer cinema-goers 16 films at a reduced admission price.
The films programmed to be screened on the day include a variety of genres ranging from animation adventures and comedies, live action adventure, drama and a thriller.
The films being shown are:
The Boxtrolls, Into The Storm, The Nut Job, Planes 2: Fire & Rescue, Step Up 5: All In, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Hercules, The House Of Magic, Earth To Echo, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, Transformers: Age Of Extinction, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Maleficent, Tarzan
Noah and Free Birds.
Participating cinemas are the Eden cinema in St Julians, Embassy Cinemas in Valletta, the Tal-Lira Cinema in Fgura and the Don Bosco Oratory in Gozo.
Film shows at cinemas in Malta will commence at 9.00am and run until 7.00pm whereas in Gozo there will be two performances at 5.00pm and 8.00pm.
The prices of admission will be €2.50 for children and €4 for accompanying adults.
