Local band embarks on European acoustic tour
Alternative rock band nosnow/noalps are to embarking on a European acoustic tour which consists of 10 shows to promote their debut album ROMANTIKPOLITIK.
The band will be touring Denmark, France, the UK and Italy throughout September. The band – consisting of Nick Morales, Sarah Snow, Daniel Cassar and Darko Strnisa – will then play a homecoming full-band performance at this year’s edition of Notte Bianca (October 1).
Their performance schedule across Europe will be as follows:
1 September – DK – Raw House, Copenhagen
2 September– DK – Elværket, Helsingoer
3 September – DK – Månefiskeren- (Moonfisher), Christiania, Copenhagen
6 September – FR – Chez Adel, Paris
7 September – FR – L’Espace B-Club, Paris
11 September – UK – Camden head, London
13 September – UK – The Abbey, London
15 September – IT – All'unaetrentacinque Circa, Cantù
16 September – IT – The Tambourine, Milan
17 September – IT – Sourmilk, Milan
The tour also includes a performance at a school in Copenhagen and performing live at local radio shows. The band will be touring alongside Danish singer-songwriter Jesper Ejrup as he promotes his own debut album ‘Love’.
In Copenhagen, nosnow/noalps will share the stage with other acts Dørene åbner, Jake Lundtofte (The Headlines), Snatch, Mom’s A Mannequin, The Howls and more, while in Paris they will be supporting upcoming singer-songwriter Erica Buettner.
In London they will be joined onstage by local beatboxer Dana McKeon and will play a show with another local band Red Electrick at the Camden Head.
The band will also be playing in Berlin – venues and dates to be confirmed.
The tour is supported by the Malta Arts Fund.
In the coming weeks, Joe Meek inspired instrumental ‘Laika's Revenge’ from the album ROMANTIKPOLITIK will be out as an online release, followed by the release of second single ‘Look Down Below’.
