UK singer-songwriter to grace Valley Road

Having supported the likes of Nick Cave's Grinderman and Midlake, and boasting a fan in Jimmy Page, the UK 'pop noir' songstress has been attracting critical plaudits from all the people who matter - from NME to Spin and Mojo - though all have zoned in on the musician's ability to create a moody cinematic atmophere.

Now, Gemma Ray comes to Malta with a couple of intimate gigs at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida on July 6 and 7.

The Malta shows are part of her tour promoting her upcoming album Island Fire released in May 2012 on Bronzerat Records.

Tickets are at 8. Due to limited space, tickets are limited to 100 people per night. There might not be tickets at the door.
