Call for singers for Verdi bonanza

On the occasion of the bicentenary of Verdi's birth, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will be holding a concert of operatic arias and overtures from some of his best loved operas. For this occasion the MPO is looking for singers who are interested in taking part in this concert to be held at the Manoel Theatre on Saturday 14 December 2013.

Short-listed applicants will be requested to sit for an audition to be held on Friday 4th October at Robert Samut Hall, Floriana. They will be required to present an aria from any Opera by Verdi. Candidates are to provide their own accompanist.
