Spot the Victoria hawker: Chasing Pandora's video for 'People'

Gozo-homegrown balladeers Chasing Pandora are releasing their single People in the UK this October, with a four-track EP by the expanded CP line-up.

Classic Rock magazine said “this is what popular music should sound like,” on their new album ‘The Driver and the Dancer’. And an invite from BBC Radio 2 to perform a live session,  on ‘Good Morning Sunday’ followed a wonderful live review from the UK’s Independent for their concert at London’s Roundhouse and a performance at this year’s NXNE in Toronto.

The People EP features four tracks written by Melissa, Keith and Ismael. “These new songs are a departure from Chasing Pandora’s mellow, poignant melodies incorporating a greater emphasis on rhythm while still retaining the distinctive ‘Chasing Pandora’ sound,” the band says.

Chasing Pandora have expanded their line up to include long time collaborator Ismael Azzopardi, who has played keyboards on all their recordings, along with violin virtuoso Simon Vella and Dru Mayer on Percussion.

They debuted their new line-up earlier in June, to great critical acclaim, in Toronto, where they played to packed houses and received rapturous reviews for their performances.
