In what is a relatively late line-up announcement for the annual pop music concert, the official Isle of MTV website has confirmed that former member of the Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger will complete this year's edition of the free annual concert at the Granaries in Floriana, this year taking place on June 25.

This will be Enrique Iglesias's third visit to Malta, as the Spanish-born singer had performed at two previous editions of the event, in 2007 and 2008.

The singers will be joined by popular British hip-hop artist Dizzee Rascal, along with American electro-pop singer Kiesza and DJ Hardwell.

This year's edition of the concert will also feature a local act. Musicians were put through a 'Battle of the Bands' competition, which has now whittled down to three finalists: Rikki Lee, Funk Initiative and Joe Roscoe, and the winner will be selected following a popular online vote.
