[WATCH] Joseph Calleja gives impromptu concert in Valletta

The celebrated Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja gave an impromptu concert at St George's Square, Valletta this afternoon while recording a segment for a Sky UK documentary. 

In the style of Amanda Palmer's 'ninja gigs', Calleja announced the mini-concert - which coincided with the singer's birthday - on his Facebook page yesterday, and attracted a sizeable but tight-knit crowd, whom he regaled with renditions of classic songs like O Sole Mio and Granada.
