An unlikely alliance re-forged at Tattingers

When just a few years back Brikkuni and Xtruppaw descended on the local music scene singing songs in our native tongue (or Maltese… whichever you prefer), both bands unexpectedly forged a strong and loyal following. For the first time ever, last December they were brought together for a double headlining concert at Tattingers organized by HairyAmp.

That night, Brikkuni and Xtruppaw gave explosive performances to an electrifying audience that danced away till the early hours of the morning. The combination of both bands sharing the bill together worked a treat and the night was utterly memorable. The vibrant atmosphere left a marked impression on all who attended and the ceaseless demand for a second concert couldn’t go unnoticed.
Well the good news for all those that wanted it back or missed out first time around is that Brikkuni and Xtruppaw will once again be taking the stage at Tattingers on Saturday, November 27.

The anticipation for the concert is intensified due to the fact that this will be the last public appearance for both bands for quite some time, since both Brikkuni and Xtruppaw will be shifting their focus on writing new material and recording their new albums for the larger part of 2011.

Same as last year, DJs Tim Ellis and Club Sandwich will keep the vibe going before and after the bands perform. Doors open at 21:00.
