FinanceMalta clinic to aid aviation marketing
FinanceMalta-organised educational clinic on the aviation industry is a 90-minute event to be held at the Malta Stock Exchange in Valletta on16th June 2011.
The Civil Aviation Directorate will support the aviation clinic, providing financial intermediaries with help to market the new national aircraft register with an overview of the new opportunities that exist under the Aircraft Registration Act, 2010.
The Acthas broadened the possibilities for registering aircraft, not only by extending the capacity in which a person may apply to register aircraft, but also widened the category of those qualified to register aircraft that are not used to provide air services or that are in construction, thereby making the Maltese Register more accessible to the private aviation sector.
Speakers at the Aviation Clinic include Dr. Michelle Grima, Civil Aviation Directorate, Ing. Carl Tabone, Head of Airworthiness Inspectorate and Mr. Dierk Reitzig, Director, Airworthiness Inspector, AP Malta Ltd.
With a history of over 40 years of experience in aircraft registration in Malta, the Civil Aviation Directorate within Transport Malta regulates all aviation activities in Malta. It ensures that the Maltese air transport industry continues to develop to serve the island’s needs.
