Kuwait, Malta agree to launch direct flights
Parliamentary secretary for tourism and Kuwait's ambassador to Malta have agreed to establishing direct flight between Malta and Kuwait.
Malta and Kuwait are soon expected to establish a direct aerial link in a bid to strengthen the “excellent” relations that exist between the two countries and invigorate their cultural and educational agreements.
An announcement is expected shortly on a direct flight between Kuwait City and Malta International Airport that will help bolster tourism figures and enhance cooperation, Kuwait news agency (KUNA) said.
Faisal Sulaiman Al Musaileem, Kuwait's ambassador to Malta, and Mario De Marco, Malta's parliamentary secretary for tourism, stressed that the link will open new horizons for the two countries.
The Kuwaiti diplomat is currently engaged with the Maltese government on a series of agreements in various sectors, that range from education, finance, health, commerce and industry.
