Significant increase has been registered in particular at supermarkets, Andy Ripley – HSBC head of retail – said during the presentation to five HSBC customers who automatically participated in the HSBC Advance ‘Spend and Win’ Summer Competition.
The five winners were selected at random from among the Bank’s customers who during May 2011 used their HSBC Advance VISA card to effect purchases.Until July 31, a virtual ticket is earned for every €100 spent and customers automatically qualify to take part in this competition.
Winners Charles Borg, Deborah Ellul, Ian Minuti, Dionne Tonna, and Adrian Bonett respectively won travel vouchers worth €1,000 and €500 and Marks and Spencer vouchers worth €300, €200 and €100. The next five HSBC customers will be randomly selected from among those who used HSBC Advance during June 2011.
During this summer, ten customers will be selected at random to take part in a general knowledge quiz which will decide who will drive home in a brand new Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet. The other 9 participants can win travel vouchers worth €2,000 and €1,000, 40”, 36” and 32” LED TVs, an Apple iPad, an Apple iPhone, an Apple iPod, and a digital camera.
