Vassallo Group takes over Tagliaferro Centre

Former Bank of Valletta head office Tagliaferro Centre acquired by Vassallo Group.

Tagliaferro Centre, which until recently housed Bank of Valletta branch and head offices,  has been acquired by the Vassallo Group and will be transformed into the state-of-the art Tagliaferro Business Centre.

The property was officially transferred recently from Bank of Valletta to Tagliaferro Business Centre Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Vassallo Group.

Located in the hub of Sliema next to the Sliema Car Park, the Tagliaferro Business Centre will be a seven-storey building housing spacious offices and enjoying magnificent views of the Valletta Harbour and the Sliema shore.

Research has identified Sliema as the prime central business district in the North Harbour of Malta, the Vassallo Group said. “For this reason, over the past few years a number of businesses have decided to transfer to this area where the proximity to all amenities is considered as an added advantage,” director Chris Vassallo said.

Vassallo said the business centre will create a unique opportunity for businesses to transfer their base in a building which has been closely associated with the finance and business sectors for more than three decades.

Tagliaferro Business Centre will also be distinguished by a diverse tenant mix, state-of-the-art design as well as abundant parking. Works on the gutting out of the  interior of the centre have started in earnest.
