EC to open language school in Los Angeles, USA

Following July’s announcement of the launch of a new operation in Miami later in 2011, EC English Language Centres are adding yet another destination to their portfolio in the USA.

EC Los Angeles will open its doors on 3 January 2012, and will be their 12^th school worldwide.

EC Los Angeles will be able to accommodate up to 336 English language students in a modern and bright learning space. Learners will benefit from 24 classrooms, a computer room with 20 computers, free Wi-Fi, library facilities and a student lounge.

The school will cater for adult students on various programmes and also juniors aged 10-17, who will be enrolled on the Classic Los Angeles programme.

Located at 401 Wilshire Boulevard, in the heart of Santa Monica, this will be the Malta-based company’s third school in California, and its sixth in the USA. Only two minutes’ stroll from 3^rd Street Promenade and a five-minute walk to Santa Monica beach, the new location will allow students to experience the “California Beach Lifestyle” at its best.

Having established their first US-based operation in Boston, Massachusetts, EC’s North American schools have proven to be a popular choice for English language students from all over the world. With a presence in Miami coming soon, and LA commencing in early 2012, the organisation’s growth in the US is set to continue.
