New BOV advance deposit ATM at The Point

Bank of Valletta has installed the first off-site advance deposit ATM in Malta. Situated within the premises of The Point shopping mall in Tigné, Sliema, this ATM uses cutting-edge technology that enables customers and businesses to deposit cash and cheques in a most straightforward and efficient manner.

“We are delighted to launch this first off-site advance deposit ATM, offering customers access to a wide range of services at this popular location,” said Michael Galea, Chief Officer, Operations at Bank of Valletta.

Galea said that thanks to this ATM’s modern features, cash deposits are credited to the customer’s account instantly whilst cheques are deposited within a very short time with the ATM providing instant proof of deposit.

“The customer experience is seamless with the customer simply having to insert cash or cheques, even in batches, directly into the ATM.”

The ATM also employs touch-screen technology for ease of use.  “This latest innovation is in line with BOV’s efforts to continuously enhance its banking services to best serve its valued customers.
