GO introduces interactive TV
GO introduces GO interactive TV on special offer to new Home Pack subscribers which will allow more control on when and which programmes are watched.
GO’s newest service, GO interactive TV, hit the local market recently and is the first of its kind among television viewers in Malta.
GO interactive TV will provide viewers with a line-up of over 100 channels, some of which are exclusive to GO. GO interactive TV will be provided to customers on additional bandwidth and download usage.
Customers would be able to make use of unique features such as Restart (which takes you back to the beginning of a live programme), Catch Up (free on-demand library), Pause and Rewind, Recording, Games and Widgets.
Many channels will be in HD bringing programmes to life with superior picture quality and clear Dolby surround sound.
A special offer is now on for GO interactive TV with benefits to those subscribing for the Home Pack. The special offer running until 30 November 2011, offers GO Home Pack customers to have the chance to enjoy GO interactive TV from €5 extra per month. Home Pack Silver interactive is available at €39 monthly and Home Pack Gold interactive at €47 a month.
Besides the normal Home Pack benefits, both packages come with additional advantages that include free installation, free interactive HD box, free internet modem and 6 months of HD activation free of charge. GO expects the new service to transform the way viewers watch TV, giving control to watch "what they want, when they want".
Customers will be able to enjoy an overabundance of remarkable HD channels spread over a range of varied genres that include lifestyles and culture, drama, general knowledge, news, variety and, of course, music amongst others.
Mezzo, a channel showing European performances of classical and jazz music to its viewer, will be made available to music lovers if subscribed to the Home Pack gold interactive package. The new 24/7 Mezzo LiveHD will also be made available, broadcasting top international music and ballet events live.
Fox Life, which hosts an eclectic mix of international fiction and reality with a variety of comedies, drama and scripted first-run series, will also be made available on the Gold interactive channel line-up FX, showing a blend of new comedy, crime drama and US reality shows and four new MTV channels will be available on the new package.
Military History, the channel that moves from ancient battles to modern warfare and brings to life the people, technology and conflicts that shaped the world. Food lovers can watch Food Network with recipe ideas, videos, healthy eating advice, party ideas and cooking techniques from top chefs.
The Silver interactive package line-up, also accessible to Gold interactive package viewers, includes Discovery ID, Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD.
