The tool, accessed through the Wealth Management section on the HSBC website, simplifies the meaning of wealth management and breaks it down to the various needs of any individual, from birth to old age. The main aim is to help people discover what their needs are so that they can live with financial peace of mind now and in the future.

Selecting the age group they belong to, varying from very young to older age, customers can then identify with life situations that best define their circumstances, whether they are still studying or working up their career ladder, have a family who they need to provide for, or retiring. Once the life stage is established, the tool recommends what should be the individual's priority to make sure their life and that of their loved ones are financially protected, that they are saving according to their means, and that they are making the right investments and getting the most out of their wealth to make it grow.
