Regs4ships Limited Senior Surveyor Mark Robinson and Surveyor Robert Aldous were officially appointed as government ship surveyors for Transport Malta (Maritime).

Robinson and Aldous can conduct flag‐in surveys as well as perform flag state inspections and annual surveys for all Maltese registered vessels, regardless of size.

The  two experienced flag state surveyors - currently working for Regs4ships Limited - have been, and are continuing to, work with the Marshall Islands and Cook Islands administrations and are highly adept at helping their clients achieve requirements through a quick, professional and personal service.

Mark Robinson, Senior Surveyor at Regs4ships Limited, said: "we are delighted to be representing Transport Malta (Maritime) as appointed ship surveyors and help build upon their yacht, superyacht and shipping registers. We are primarily looking at the superyacht market and have already entered into negotiations with two management companies who are looking to flag‐in some of their managed yachts."

The survey process is quite simple to follow, relying on standards set by international conventions and the commercial yacht code.

Mark Aldus added: "we will undertake surveys for commercial yacht compliance of any size and tonnage, including pre‐registration and condition surveys. We are able to provide all statutory certification and will attend yachts to conduct the annual compliance surveys required for continued commercial operation."

Through their appointment, Mark and Rob are also available to conduct flag surveys for Maltese registered ships and are available 24 hours a day to attend worldwide destinations.

Captain Richard Eastham, Chief Executive at Regs4ships Limited, said: "we are pleased to add Transport Malta (Maritime) to the growing number of registries that Regs4ships and Regs4yachts can issue statutory certification on behalf of.It brings us one‐step closer to becoming a single point of contact for all your yacht statutory certification needs."
