"When searching for corporate headquarters for our business, SkyParks Business Centre was a natural and easy decision given it is to be a state-of-the-art facility in the centre of the islands' aviation community," said Hangar 8's CEO, Michael O'Brien.

Moreover, the most recent agreements made between prospective tenants and SkyParks are set to place this Business Centre firmly at the top of the corporate radar. New facilities include 'YOYO Child Care Centre'; 'The Mad Hatter Books and Stationery', 'The Matrix' and Malta's leading local bank, Bank of Valletta (BOV).

For working parents constantly in search of a Day Care Centre that is close to their workplace and home, and which has a good reputation offering quality childcare, YoYo Child Care will come as a huge support. The Centre aims to give children the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually by playing, exploring and learning with others in a fun, healthy and safe environment. It will be located on level 0 and it will be operated by Josef Gafa and Gianni Zammit, directors of JUGS Malta who set up a new company Mi Child Limited. Ms Dorianne Vella, a qualified carer, will be managing the facility, which takes up to 80 children at once. The facility will be available during office hours and during the evening, offering its services to the general public as well as to the tenants.

The Mad Hatter Books and Stationery will be on Level 1 and will sell greeting cards, newspapers, magazines, books and small gifts. The Matrix, a Forestals Group of Companies Store, will also be situated on level 1 of the Business Centre. As an exclusive digital lifestyle shop it will be selling IT hardware and software, Playstation gadgets, mobile phones and tablets together with a Video and Hifi product range. BOV has also confirmed its presence on site with a branch and ATM on level 1, offering banking services for tenants and visitors alike.

"With these amenities, SkyParks is securing more top class services for its tenants and creating a work environment which is more convenient and which addresses their daily needs," said SkyParks General Manager Alan Borg.

SkyParks Business Centre is a purposely-built office park for companies and firms who wish to make the most of their location, their work environment and have easy access to high quality facilities. Spread over 9 levels, SkyParks is offering a total rentable area of 14,000 square metres. Tenants will also have access to other top class facilities such as a fitness centre, a medical clinic and a restaurant area in the open terrace. Such facilities are further and conveniently supplemented by all the other existing services offered at the airport such as a pharmacy, a post office, a convenience store, a petrol station and a food court.
