HSBC Contact Centre holds recruitment day in Gozo
The recruitment drive will take place at the Gozo College, Boys Secondary, Europa Street, Victoria on February 11.
The HSBC Contact Centre in Swatar, which exclusively services UK customers, is holding a recruitment day in Gozo on Saturday February 11.
Human Resources personnel from the HSBC Contact Centre, which is part of the UK business, will be present to answer queries from potential applicants wishing to join the dynamic organisation in Swatar.
The recruitment drive will take place at the Gozo College, Boys Secondary, Europa Street, Victoria on February 11 from 9 am to 4 pm. The HSBC Contact Centre is seeking to recruit people for the position of Banking Specialist.
As opposed to mainstream banking, employment at the Contact Centre does not require a banking specialisation. Applicants need to have good interpersonal skills and speak fluent English to qualify. Selected candidates will then receive a 12 week training programme on full pay before they are integrated into the Contact Centre banking system, which is on shift-rotation basis
At present, there are some 12 employees working at the HSBC Swatar Contact Centre hailing from Gozo. Gozitan employees benefit from free Gozo ferry tickets and free return transport from Ċirkewwa to the Swatar Contact Centre.
