€300 in cash to be won in GO Facebook competition
GO launches Facebook competition for all interactive customers to participate and win €300 in cash by sharing their GO interactive TV experience.
GO launched a social media competition and invited all its interactive TV customers to participate to win €300 in cash.
Customers will be asked to share their GO interactive TV experience and follow some steps to put them in the draw to become the lucky winner.
The competition will run until 28 March, after which a name will be drawn and the contestant will be asked a skill question to win the cash prize.
Anyone over the age of 16 is eligible to participate by logging onto Facebook, ‘liking’ the GO page and following some steps and sharing the experience with friends via Twitter or Facebook.
“The more friends click on your review, the higher your social reach counter which increases when a person clicks on your review. This means that the more people click, the better chance you have to win. So, go ahead and encourage your friends to click on the link in your post – it will hugely increase your chances of landing our amazing prize of €300 in cash,” GO’s Digital Marketing and Portals Manager Claire Galea said.
Galea said the competition was in line with the company’s ongoing drive to communicate with customers in all areas of its business. “This time we are targeting our GO interactive TV customers. The competition also enables us to get a one-to-one view of our customers’ experience of GO interactive TV and the whole scope of our great promotion is to encourage our customers to share their experience with us. Give us your feedback and get the chance to win a prize,” she said.
Since the launch of the competition, many GO interactive TV customers have commented very positively on one or more of its exciting features including Restart, Catch Up, pause, rewind & record, games and widgets.
Restart takes viewers back to the beginning of a live programme, Catch Up enables viewing of selected shows on demand, pause, rewind & record allows viewers to see live TV again, games which is an entertainment centre and widgets which allows the ideal way to check out the latest news headlines, sports updates and Twitter feeds).
GO said that in their feedback, customers commented on the “unmatched combination of scalability, flexibility and value of GO interactive TV” also noting that they get access to over 100 tv channels some of which are exclusive to GO.
GO customers also suggested that GO interactive TV offers great potential for its viewers who stand to benefit from a highly innovative viewing experience.
GO customers who have not yet posted their review directly on the GO Facebook application, are being urged by GO to participate in the competition and be the lucky winner of €300 in cash.
