Vodafone team building day for philantropy
The technology team at Vodafone Malta carried out a team building day at Inspire in Marsascala, specifically organised to strengthen the team while giving in precious hours of voluntary work.
Louisa Attard, Personal Assistant the Head of the Techology Andrew De La Torre, presented Inspire with a cheque of €3,000 on behalf of Vodafone Malta. "Our constant commitement to the community underlies the fundamental values and principles of the company," said Martin Gregory, Head of Human Resources at Vodafone Malta. "The employee charity contribution scheme is one initiative that underlines the fact that Vodafone, together with its employees believe in helping different charitable institutions. We are constantly complementing financial aid together with hands on help that Vodafone employees are engaging in, in different insititutions," he concluded.
"Vodafone Malta and it's employees have always supported the work that we do," said Joshua Farrugia, Fund Raising Manager at Inspire. " Financial and manual help is of utmost importance to us and such contributions will always help us achieve what we are working and striving for," he said.
The funds raised annually by Vodafone's team members will further help those persons seeking care and refuge at different charitable institutions across the island.
