Yet it provides immediate work to hundreds of creative individuals. “We live by being visible, by being heard, by having big dreams. We engage freelance actors, models, musicians, makeup artists, hairdressers, photographers, writers and journalists. We keep in business the thousands of others who work with our suppliers”. He continued, “We are the catalyst that keeps the economy flowing. We work hard at understanding what we do, and we too engineer a media plan and construct a creative campaign for our clients”.
Two years ago, Lighthouse joined IN Network, the largest global conglomerate of independent advertising agencies, with a strong presence in every continent. IN Network has created a synergy of knowledge, ideas and resources between practically every country of the world. This synergy has made the partnership with Ashley Worldgroup possible.Makis Seriatos introduced his Group saying, ”Ashley & Holmes is a name that may not be immediately familiar, but you have definitely seen the results of the group. If you were mesmerised by the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympics, if you were spellbound at the Greek pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, if you were enticed to holiday in Greece by the multinational campaigns of the last few years, if you were influenced by the Hyundai campaign in the current World Cup, then you have already met Ashley & Holmes”.
Ashley World Group is driven by the belief that Nothing is Impossible, driven by the knowledge that by influencing desire and belief, one can move mountains. Since its foundation in 1989, Ashley & Holmes has garnered over 200 National and International Creative and Efficiency Awards employing over 500 professionals with offices in 13 countries. Today Malta has become the fourteenth country.
With a planned increase of over 30 professionals, the Lighthouse and Ashley partnership plans to launch a range of unique communication, production and research services, to the Maltese business community.
The Prime Minister welcomed the Greek partners to Malta and affirmed that the creative industry was one of the sectors identified to become a centre of excellence in Vision 2015+. It was of great satisfaction to note that many of the creative industry professionals of today are the product of MCAST and the University of Malta.
