Bank of Valletta is upgrading its ATM network with an investment of over €1.5 million as part of a programme to improve customer convenience which will involve the addition of 15 new machines, as well as creation of lobbies for security and privacy.

Through this major upgrade some of these branches will now boast two next-generation ATMs each, offering a range of new services, while machines will be relocated into modern lobbies within the branch design.

"Many of our ATMs already offer our customers an extensive range of banking services including the facility to deposit cash into their accounts in real time - a service which is unique to Bank of Valletta. Customers may also pay their bills, deposit cheques - for same day processing if deposited within office hours - and top up mobile phones using our ATMs.

"With the newly refurbished ATM lobbies, our customers now benefit from added privacy and convenience, features that complement well the increasingly diverse range of banking services offered through our modern and advanced ATM network," Michael Galea, Chief Officer Operations at Bank of Valletta, said.

"During the current year we shall also continue to upgrade our ATM network by introducing a number of additional advanced ATMs across the island which will offer very exciting new functions. The new ATMs and ATM lobbies form part of the Bank's ongoing strategy to offer a more efficient and convenient customer experience. We are also pleased to announce that works to create and refurbish other ATM lobbies in other localities in Malta and Gozo are proceeding at a fast pace," Galea said.

Bank of Valletta is dedicated to serving its community with state of the art banking products. BOV has maintained its position at the forefront in providing its customers with services using cutting-edge technology, recently consolidated with the launch of BOV Mobile, the first dedicated mobile banking application on the island.
