Air Malta to participate in the Malta International Air Show
Air Malta will actively be participating in the twentieth Malta International Air Show with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Air Malta will take an active part in the Malta International Air Show by participating with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
The 20th edition of the air show will be held over a period of two days from 29 to 30 September at Malta International Airport.
Over the years, the air show has attracted many interesting aircraft including F-14s, F-15s, F-16s, F-18s, the L-39, A-4 Skyhawks, Tornados, the B-52, the Spitfire and the Hurricane.
The air show has also hosted national display teams including the Red Arrows, Patrouille de France, Frecce Tricolori, the Spanish team Patruila Aguoila, the Swiss PC-7 Team, the Breitling JetTeam, and many other types of aircraft from all over the world.
Powered by two CFM56-5B4/P engines, Air Malta’s Airbus A320 aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 77 metric tonnes, an overall length of 37.57 metres, and a wingspan of 34.1 metres.
The aircraft has a cruising speed of 834 kilometres per hour and a maximum range of 4,055km. Air Malta currently operates five A320s, two 180-seater and three 168-seater aircrafts.

Held annually in September, the Malta International Air Show is one of Malta's largest outdoor family events.
