BRND WGN wins Air Malta’s advertising agency tender

BRND WGN appointed as Air Malta’s advertising agency with immediate effect.

National airline carrier Air Malta today announced that BRND WGN has been appointed as its advertising agency.

The appointment, Air Malta said, was made following a thorough selection process during which several leading local and international agencies were under consideration.

Air Malta's CEO Philip Saunders described the agency as a mix of youthful energy, creative excellence and local pride.

"These are all powerful factors in influencing our choice and we are excited by the opportunities ahead to position Air Malta at the forefront of airline marketing," Saunders said.

BRND WGN's managing director Peter Grech said the company was committed to support Air Malta's team in "taking our national airline to great new heights, confident that our efforts and ideas will be passionately set in motion in the best interests of the brand and ultimately the Maltese economy".

BRND WGN will work closely with the airline's marketing team to communicate the airline's exciting new brand identity through strategic activity across all key markets and develop tactical campaigns to maximise revenues and awareness. There will also be increased focus on digital communication and social media.

The three year agreement is seen as a key element in strengthening awareness of Air Malta and contributing to stronger commercial performance.
