Chamber of Commerce representative to Eurochambres John Huber has been elected to the pan-European business organisation's board of directors for 2013.

"It is an honour for me to represent the Malta Chamber at this prestigious forum of European Business," Huber said in a short comment.

"Eurochambres is an active organization focused on the facilitation of internationalization for European businesses and SMEs as well as in the promotion of EU-funded projects in the area of training. With the recent experience of heading Malta Business Bureau for two years, I look forward to continue to contribute towards ensuring that business in Malta is best placed to reap full benefit of its active participation in the European Union and its structures."
