No politics during Christmas - Chamber of Commerce
Chamber of Commerce welcomes Prime Minister’s request to start electioneering after the Christmas festivities are over.
The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry said it fully supports the Prime Minister Lawrecne Gonzi's request to start electioneering after the Christmas festivities are over.
"It is in everybody's interest to ensure that the electoral campaign is short and that it commences after the New Year in order to ensure that the effect on the business momentum is kept to a minimum," the chamber said.
The statement added that "the Malta Chamber therefore looks forward to see business work peacefully in order to reap the benefits of this once a year occasion, and calls on all political parties to follow suit in an attempt to let this joyful time of the year bring about the best possible results for everyone."

How sweet the Prime Minister! Thanks but no thanks! He has been procrastinating for a whole year: long holidays, not taking any important votes, knowing full well that Dr Debono was going to vote against him! This has been on the wall since last Christmas, and he is crying for ruining Christmas shopping for all of us? Incredible hypocrisy!
