6PM signs major contract for rollout of medical records database

6PM is pleased to announce a major contract award to deliver their document management system for medical records. The client is a major NHS Trust and the solution will require significant integration to the Hospitals core clinical systems, making 6PM a strategic supplier.

As part of the solution, 6PM will be rolling out the CareSolutions Document Management System for Medical Records which is based on the EMC xCP platform. It will be integrated with a number of the Trust's clinical systems including a clinical portal.

The system allows the scanning of all the medical records held by the Trust, which are then put online and are integrated into a record management solution.

The value of the contract for the first phase for 6PM services is in excess of £400,000 and will be delivered by April 2013 in preparation for phase two.
